Customer Portal
With the new customer portal feature update, maintenance managers now have the option to offer a dedicated portal to their internal/external customers. The customer portal enables internal/external customers to submit their asset maintenance requests. These requests are later available for the managers for review and approval. Once the maintenance requests are approved, managers can generate work orders and assign them to the maintenance engineers to perform the requested asset maintenance, fulfilling the customer’s maintenance requirements.
Asset Hierarchy
The newly introduced Asset Hierarchy feature in Fogwing CMMS Software empowers manager users to efficiently organize and represent assets with a structured hierarchical approach. This functionality enables users to designate assets as parent or child assets and seamlessly associate them with parts.
Fogwing Asset+ Smart CMMS platform now has six distinct levels for asset management.
The system’s hierarchy starts with the ‘customer’ level at the top.
The ‘Plant’ is just beneath the customer level, representing a specific physical location or facility where the assets are deployed.
The ‘Asset category’ comes under the plant level. Assets are grouped into categories based on type, function, or classification. Furthermore, the asset is classified into parent and child below the asset category level to define their relationship.
The last level of asset hierarchy is ‘Parts,’ which is associated with assets. These asset associations are presented visually in a hierarchical structure, making it easier to filter through them based on their hierarchy.
